Hi There,
Miss Sunshade's Mom Elaine has suggested a Christmas Card exchange list. We think its a great idea and can't wait to participate - it's going to be great fun!
I will leave it to Miss Sunshade and Elaine to follow this post with the details on how it will work.
But my question to YOU is, is this something you would like to participate in?
(Please keep in mind, you will have to supply an address to Elaine so all of the participants know where to send your card to)

Hi everyone, this is just an idea I have and I want to know how many people would be interested in it:
This is basically a Christmas Card exchange, nothing else. You would make the cards somewhat dog related - photos of your dogs, your dogs' breed cards,etc you get the idea. It's a great way to show off your blogging kids! Even a regular holiday card with a quick paper picture of the blogger is good!
You will need to send a card to everyone that joins the card exchange (can't pick and choose). Snail cards only, no e-mail cards. Keep in mind that this would be a WORLDWIDE card exchange......so be prepared to pay for postage to foreign countries.
How it's gonna work:
1. Sign up by sending me a PM. Put Christmas Card exchange in the subject line. I will send a reply back that it was received. If you don't get my reply--I didn't get your entry.
2. Include the name(s) you want people to address you by.
Examples: Elaine & Miss Sunshade, Miss Sunshade, The Handsome Mr Opy, etc.
3. Your snail mail address, the way it should be put on the envelope.
Example:
Miss Sunshade
1234 Airedale Road
Vancouver, BC
zip code or postal code
CANADA
4. After I have received everybody's info, I will put all the info together and PM or e-mail all the participants. Feel free to include the URL to your dog's blog. Will need to come up with a deadline if we were to go ahead with the proposal.
5. Please enclude an e-mail address.

I want to be in but I don't have a dog. I can send everyone Xmas cards with my foster cats in them. I know its not the same but . . .puhlease.

we want in too! But we will be moving to Japan in Nov and won't have a permanent address until early Dec. I wonder if that's okay. I suppose we can give a work address or have the service apartment forward cards onto us.

I (and others, I'm sure ) would love to receive a card with your foster cats' pics on it. I, personally, am fascinated by cats. Love looking at them but it's a pity we can't have cats coz I get really bad allergic reactions to cats. |
